CPD Events
Film Education offers high-quality curriculum-focused CPD workshops for teaching professionals, combining both critical and creative aspects of digital media.
Focusing on the latest film and media developments within the Primary National Strategy and the National Curriculum, our workshops help teachers raise levels of engagement and attainment through the confident and creative use of film in their classrooms.
Past events include our ever-popular Film Industry day-conference, our hugely valuable residential CP3 conference, Using Film to Raise Standards in Literacy (Primary) and a two-day course on Digital Video for the Classroom.

A conference which explores how film can be used to create a deeper
understanding of European culture in Education.
Twilight Training - Film and Citizenship - Thursday, May 6th 2010
This engaging two-hour session offers effective approaches to incorporating film within Citizenship teaching, and provides practical experience with existing Film Education resources.

CP3 2009 took place at Liverpool Hope University 15-19 July 2009

Film Education is determined that CP3 continues to offer unique and innovative CPD and learning opportunities for educationalists seeking to enhance their own practice and raise standards in their professional settings. In order to do this, CP3 is becoming a biannual event, returning again in Summer 2011. Details will be publicised on the website and we hope to see you then.

Our training events focus on giving teachers information and guidance on using film in education. Alongside the digital video training we offer nationwide, we also organise regional INSET days, which can help teachers with any level of experience get to grips with using film within the curriculum.
