Tengmalm’s Owl / Boreal Owl - Grimble

Grimble is an adult owl, forced to patrol St Aegolius Academy for Orphaned Owls (the place where snatched owlets are taken) in the hope that his family will be released.

• Boreal owls (as they are known in North America) are small owls
• Bigger owls, hawks and other large raptors prey upon Boreal owls
• Boreal owls tend to be shy and are heard more than they are seen
