These radio adverts have all been created from an activity on Film Education’s Zookeeper CD-ROM. If you have not already received a copy, fill in your details here.
Zoos like Franklin Park Zoo featured in Zookeeper, are working hard to make sure that the animals in their care (and those in the wild) are protected and looked after. Animal welfare and animal conservation issues are top priorities for zoos all over the world. This means that they will do what they can to save animals from extinction and to help animals live healthily in zoos and in the wild through welfare programmes and research.
With this in mind – and given what they already knew about Franklin Park Zoo and Griffin Keyes, the animals’ favourite zoo keeper, children were asked to create a radio advert from the animals’ point of view to persuade people to come to their zoo.
