Timothy Green shows us that our family can mean more than just our parents, aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters. Our family can include everybody who helps us in our day-to-day life – our friends, our teachers, even our club leaders.
Activity
Create your own interactive Family map using virtual pebbles. Write your name on one of the pebbles and put that one in the middle. Then write names on the other pebbles of the people who touch your life, or your ‘support network’. The closer they are to you, the closer their pebble is to your pebble.
Once you have finished, you can print your family map so that you can share, thank and champion those extended family members who mean so much to you.
