Scene 4: Sandra, who has only ever really known white society finds herself living a traditional African life following her decision to go off with her Swazi boyfriend Petrus. Following the birth of her first child Henry, she is required to take the child to a Sangoma - a witch doctor - who carries out the ritual cuts on the baby's body using a razor blade. The woman cuts his head, neck, lower back and arms.
