Food, Inc. is a powerful documentary film covering many issues that are relevant to the lives of you and your families. This website and the accompanying CD-ROM provide you with resources to develop a campaign around what you feel to be the most important issues raised by the film. Providing a compelling education tool, the CD-ROM can be used at Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and post-16 in a range of subjects including Geography, Science, Citizenship, Critical Thinking and General Studies. This site of taster activities is aimed at students of Geography, Science and Citizenship at KS3. These flexible resources will get you thinking about what you eat, where it comes from and how it's produced.
Encourage your students to enter the Take Action! competition by displaying this wallchart in your classroom. The competition closes on March 25th 2011: see the Take Action! pages for further details.
The first 2,000 teachers ordering the free CD-ROM will also receive a complimentary copy of the film Food, Inc. on DVD. Go to the Order Resources pages to request your copies.
This website accompanies a CD-ROM learning resource which was sent to schools in the Autumn of 2010. If you have received this resource, we’d like to hear your feedback: just print and complete this short questionnaire, and return to the address on the form. This will help us ensure that our future resources are as effective as possible while also providing us with strong evidence for future funding applications. As a small thank you to respondents the A-Team Foudnation are able to offer five small prizes to teachers completing the questionnaire.
