Mama Odie is the bayou fairy godmother, and live in the deepest, darkest part of the Bayou. She is a blind priestess, but is able to see the past, present and future in the swirls of the gumbo stew that she cooks up. She lives in an old boat settled at the top of a giant mangrove tree and she has a seeing eye snake called JuJu. Naveen and Tiana visit her because she is the only one who can undo their curse.
